Covid-19 Update

Despite ongoing uncertainty, order processing has not been affected. In an effort to ensure continued access to all BIOM8 formulations for both new and long term users, inventory levels have been increased in the preceding months in preparation for potential issues in logistics due to the global viral outbreak.

Additional precautions are being taken as well. Both the production facility and the packing centre are being isolated until the situation stabilizes. Incoming deliveries and personnel are being redirected to a third party to reduce the chance of anyone on the team being compromised to illness and corresponding operational disruption.

Shipping Delays

Many destinations have experience significant delivery delays that started in March 2020. These delays have been difficult to predict and fluctuate quite frequently.

USA

The majority of shipments have been moving near regular schedule and delivery delays minimal. Between the two couriers available (USPS and DHL), USPS has a higher chance of delays and advised this possibility is likely to increase as we head into the 2020 holiday period. DHL Express shipments continue to meet estimated delivery times.

Canada

Canadian shipments continue to experience sporadic delays throughout the Canada Post network. Large metropolitan areas are typically less impacted by delays than rural destinations.

Physical proximity plays a significant role in the possibility of delays and total transit time (all shipments originate from Vancouver, BC).

International

The majority of international shipments can expect significant delays due to more limited availability of flights and extra precautionary measures at mail facilities. Some countries more affected than others and the situation continues to change.

Additional Information

Additional information can be obtained directly from the corresponding courier service websites:

  • First Class
  • Priority Mail
  • Expedited Parcel
  • Small Packet Air International
  • International Tacked
  • DHL Express Worldwide

As the situation continues to change, shipping times may be unexpectedly effected enroute; especially for international shipments.

Countries not Accepting Delivery

The following countries have stopped accepting incoming international mail until further notice.

Argentina
Bahamas
Chile
Colombia
Costa Rica
India
Peru
Saudi Arabia
South Africa

Receiving Packages

In regards to the safety of receiving packages during this time, the current consensus seems to suggest the virus does not survive well on cardboard packages. Thus, mail parcels should be safe as a side-effect of transit time. Nonetheless, due the lack of control at the last point of contact (final delivery person), handling incoming mail with extra care may be worthwhile.

Please take extra care to ensure both your safety and the safety of those that are at higher risk from complications due to infection.

Ending Remarks

Hope that you and your close ones stay safe during these complicated times.

Warm regards and thank you for your support throughout the years.

Stay home stay safe
